Elective courses are courses the student selects and are another means of providing a challenging and well-rounded education. As an

undergraduate student, you can take any undergraduate level course offered that hasn’t already been taken to fulfill your general education, core, or concentration requirements. Graduate students can select from any graduate level courses we offer that haven’t already been taken to fulfill other program requirements. Elective courses are often paired with core courses or concentration courses in order to alleviate the intense focus on program specific coursework but can be taken at any point in your program.

**Please note: In order to take courses with the prefix “NURS” you must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
