Section 1: Resources within Student Services

Academic Advising

The Academic Advising Department is committed to helping students succeed as they pursue their degrees with APUS.

Advisors work with students from the start of their academic careers with APUS to the end of their degree programs. Advisors are aligned by degree program so that they can become familiar with the details of a specific program of study. We work closely with the Academics

Department to ensure that the most current and relevant information is available. Advisors can assist students in the following areas and much more!

• Course scheduling and academic planning • Course substitutions and course availability • Changes in major

• Adding a minor or certificate

• Enrolling in a new program after graduation • Locating tools for academic success
