Institutional Requirements
COLL100 – Foundations of Online Learning
We require all of our undergraduate degree-seeking students to take COLL100 as their first course. While students may have taken similar courses at other institutions, this course is designed to introduce students to the rigors of online learning and APUS’ unique online classroom.
If you have taken online courses before, can prove you have
exceptional research, writing, and communication skills, and can clearly express your future career and academic goals, you may consider requesting a waiver for COLL100. In order to apply for the COLL100 waiver you will need to submit the “RQ295/COLL100 Waiver Form” and provide several additional pieces of documentation, including a current resume and a 3-5 paragraph essay.
