Core and Concentration Requirements

Core courses are the foundation of your program. Core courses are listed in alpha-numeric order, which is not specifically the best order to take the courses. Generally, we suggest students complete their research methods courses before taking any other courses.

Many of our degrees allow students to select a ‘concentration’. When a student selects a concentration they have elected to take specialized courses within their major field of study. For example, student enrolled in the Bachelor’s in Business Administration may select a concentration in: Business Analysis, Entrepreneurial/Small Business Management, Information Technology, International Business Management, or Marketing; Business students may also elect to pursue a general concentration, which allows the student to select from a broader selection of business-related courses.
