Registrations

The Registrations Department is committed to assisting APUS students reach their education goals. The Registrations staff’s essential responsibilities are to maintain accurate records, to allow access to student records in compliance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), and to support the academic programs by gathering, maintaining and distributing information. Inherent in the effectiveness of this office is a commitment to objectivity and equity, with the understanding that there is an obligation to communicate information accurately and effectively.

Services provided by the Registrations Department:

• Ensure the integrity, security, maintenance, and access to permanent academic/administrative records.

• Interpret and explain Office of the Registrar policies and procedures, respond to inquiries for information, and make referrals to other University offices as necessary. • Process loan deferment requests.

• Assist students with course registration, withdrawal, and approved extension processes.

• Process official and unofficial transcript requests. • Process grade reports and approved changes. • Organize course scheduling information.
